Hamburger PoBoy Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cajun seasoning. Mix until well combined and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread

While the patties are cooking, slice the French bread lengthwise, leaving one side attached to create a hinge.

  4. 4

    Assemble the PoBoy

Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the bread. Place the cooked patties inside, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and a drizzle of hot sauce to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Close the sandwich and cut it in half. Serve immediately and enjoy your Hamburger PoBoy!
