Method

Fries Preparation

  1. 1

    Cutting the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into even sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Soaking the Potatoes

Place the cut potato sticks in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Drying the Potatoes

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

  4. 4

    Heating the Oil

In a deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Frying the Potatoes

Fry the potato sticks in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 6

    Cooking the Wagyu Steak

Season the wagyu steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 7

    Sautéing the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms have released their moisture, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 8

    Assembling the Fries

On a large serving plate, layer the crispy fries. Top with sliced wagyu steak, sautéed vegetables, and place slices of white American cheese on top.

  4. 9

    Melting the Cheese

Place the assembled fries under a broiler for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
