Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time, then stir in 2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp of baking soda, and 1 tsp of salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Scoop and Bake
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the brookie dough onto the prepared baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm.

In another bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, and 1 tsp of salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Using a cookie scoop, drop the cookie dough onto a lined baking tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the 350°F (175°C) oven, or until golden brown.
