Method
Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Grilling the Chicken Breast
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- 2
Slicing the Chicken
Once the chicken has rested, slice it into strips or bite-sized pieces to make it easy to serve on the tray.
Preparing the Salad Tray
- 3
Assembling the Mixed Greens
In a large serving tray, layer the mixed greens evenly across the bottom.
- 4
Adding Chicken and Toppings
Evenly distribute the grilled chicken pieces over the mixed greens. Top with gorgonzola cheese crumbles and glazed cranberry walnuts.
Making the Balsamic Dressing
- 5
Mixing the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined and emulsified.
- 6
Serving
Drizzle the balsamic dressing over the salad tray just before serving or serve it on the side for guests to add as desired.
