Prepare the Marinara Sauce

Add the Tomatoes
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Finish the Sauce
Once the sauce has thickened slightly, remove it from heat and set aside.
Prepare the Ravioli

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Cook the Ravioli
If using fresh ravioli, cook according to package instructions until al dente. If using frozen ravioli, cook for 3-4 minutes in boiling water. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Filling
In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, crumbled Gorgonzola, chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Ravioli
In a greased baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce. Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli. Repeat the layers with the remaining marinara, ravioli, and cheese mixture.

Bake the Dish
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the top of the assembled ravioli. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
