Method

Preparation of Beef

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

Rub the American Wagyu beef roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C). This low temperature will allow the beef to cook slowly and evenly.

  3. 3

    Roast the Beef

Place the seasoned beef roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

  4. 4

    Rest the Beef

Once cooked, remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Slice the Beef

After resting, slice the roast beef thinly against the grain.

  2. 6

    Prepare Vegetables

Wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion. For the tomato, slice it into rounds, and for the onion, slice it into thin rings.

  3. 7

    Assemble the Sandwiches

On each hoagie roll, spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Layer the sliced roast beef, then add provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion on top.

  4. 8

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious American Wagyu Roast Beef sandwiches!
