Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F or 190°C to 232°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Fish

Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the grill, skin side down if applicable. Grill for 4-6 minutes on one side.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Carefully flip the fish using a spatula and grill for another 3-5 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Fish

Transfer the grilled fish to a serving platter. If desired, garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs before serving.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve hot with your choice of sides such as grilled vegetables, rice, or salad.
