Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped green onions, minced garlic, and finely chopped bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

To the cheese sauce, mix in the Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir in the sautéed vegetables, crab meat, and crawfish tails until well combined.

Baking

  1. 5

    Prepare the Baking Dish

Transfer the seafood mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread evenly.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the mixture. Finally, add breadcrumbs over the cheese layer.

  3. 7

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired.
