Preparing the Mustard-Braised Brussels Sprouts

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Brussels Sprouts
Add halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Ingredients
Stir in Dijon mustard and vegetable broth. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes until Brussels sprouts are tender.

Add Wine
Pour in white wine, increase heat, and reduce by half.

Incorporate Butter
Lower the heat and whisk in the remaining butter, a few pieces at a time, until the sauce is smooth.

Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and white pepper. Keep warm until serving.
Cooking the Salmon

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season salmon fillets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
