Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Grease and flour ramekins.

  2. 2

    Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together over a pot of simmering water or in a microwave until smooth.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, stirring until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Add Flour

Sift in the all-purpose flour and gently fold until just combined.

  5. 5

    Prepare Ramekins

Pour half of the batter into each greased ramekin. Place a small piece of milk chocolate in the center of each and cover with the remaining batter.

  6. 6

    Bake the Cakes

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow to cool for a minute before inverting onto a plate. Serve warm with a sprinkle of chopped hazelnuts and a scoop of praline sorbet.
