Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chorizo and Clams
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chorizo and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and dried oregano, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Add Tomatoes and Clams
Pour in the crushed San Marzano tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Add the clams (if using fresh, scrub and rinse them first). Cook until clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.
- 4
Combine Spaghetti and Sauce
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the chorizo and clam sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 5
Finish with Breadcrumbs and Parsley
Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and mix gently. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
