Method
Preparation of Wings
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure they become crispy when cooked.
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the wings with vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands to toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
Cooking the Wings
Fry the Wings
Heat a deep fryer or a large pot filled with vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil reaches 350°F (175°C), carefully add the chicken wings in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Drain the Wings
Using a slotted spoon, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Saucing the Wings
Toss in Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, choose your desired sauce from the options provided. Add the fried wings to the bowl and toss them gently until they are evenly coated in the sauce of your choice.
Serving
Serve Hot
Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter. Serve immediately while hot, with extra sauce on the side if desired.
