Cake Preparation

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Beat Eggs and Sugar

In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

Combine Mixtures

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with milk and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Mix Milks

In a bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.

Soak Cake

Once the cake is baked and cooled, poke holes in the top and pour the milk mixture over it. Let it soak for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Whipped Cream

Make Whipped Cream

In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the passion fruit puree.

Assembly and Garnish

Spread the passion fruit whipped cream over the soaked cake and garnish with Thai basil leaves before serving.
