Take a cocktail glass and rim it with chocolate syrup. Dip the rim into crushed candy canes to coat it evenly. Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the white rum, vanilla liqueur, and dark crème de cacao. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, being careful not to disturb the candy cane rim.
