Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off the excess.
- 2
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Cook the Mushrooms
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes.
- 4
Make the Sauce
Pour in the Marsala wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors.
- 5
Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve hot with pasta or vegetables.
