For the Shrimp Parmesan

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.

  2. 2

    Bread the Shrimp

Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each shrimp is fully coated.

  3. 3

    Fry the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded shrimp and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a separate pot, heat the tomato sauce over low heat until warmed through.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

In a baking dish, layer the fried shrimp, pour the warmed tomato sauce over them, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the shrimp for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Cook the Spaghetti

While the shrimp is baking, cook the house-made spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve the Shrimp Parmesan over a bed of spaghetti with extra tomato sauce if desired.
