Method

Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the egg. Dip each pork chop in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chops

Drizzle olive oil on the grill grates. Place the breaded pork chops on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.

  2. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Garlicky Green Beans

  1. 5

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the green beans, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled pork chops with a side of mashed potatoes and garlicky green beans. Garnish with shaved Parmesan and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
