Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Risotto

Cook the risotto according to package instructions until creamy. Allow to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in the peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix the cooked risotto, cooked beef and pea mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese until well combined. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

  4. 4

    Form the Arancini

Once the mixture is cooled, form golf ball-sized balls (about 2 inches in diameter) with your hands.

  5. 5

    Coat the Arancini

Dredge each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

  6. 6

    Fry the Arancini

In a deep pot, heat olive oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the arancini in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve hot with red sauce for dipping and garnish with chopped fresh basil.
