Brewing the Tea

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

Add Sweetener
If desired, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or 1 cup of honey to the hot tea. Stir until completely dissolved.
Flavoring the Tea

Add Lemon and Mint
Squeeze the juice from 1 whole lemon into the tea and add a bunch of fresh mint leaves. Stir well to combine.
Chilling and Serving

Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 1-2 hours until chilled.

Serve Over Ice
In a glass, add 2 cups of ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and additional mint leaves if desired.
