Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Gnocchi

Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them and let cool. Mix in flour, egg, and salt to form a dough. Roll into logs and cut into small pieces. Boil until they float, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chops

Preheat grill to medium-high. Season pork chops with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and juices run clear.

  3. 3

    Caramelize the Figs

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add figs, honey, and red pepper flakes. Cook until figs are caramelized and tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Roast the Cauliflower

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut cauliflower into florets, toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and tender.

  5. 5

    Brown Butter

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Dish

Place grilled pork chop on a plate, top with caramelized figs, and serve with potato gnocchi drizzled with brown butter and roasted cauliflower on the side. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
