Method

Fried Plantains

1

Prepare the Plantains

Peel the ripe plantains and slice them diagonally into 1-inch thick pieces.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.

3

Fry the Plantains

Carefully add the plantain slices to the hot oil, being sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

4

Drain and Season

Remove the fried plantains from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.

Jerk Dip

5

Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, jerk seasoning, lime juice, and honey.

6

Stir Until Smooth

Stir the mixture until well combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
