Pita and Hummus

Method

Grilled Vegetables Preparation

1

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the zucchini, bell peppers, red onion, and mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.

2

Marinate the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine the sliced vegetables with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all vegetables are well coated.

3

Grill the Vegetables

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the marinated vegetables on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have grill marks.

Pita and Hummus Preparation

4

Prepare the Pita Bread

While the vegetables are grilling, cut the pita bread into wedges.

5

Serve the Hummus

In a serving bowl, place the hummus. You can also drizzle a little olive oil on top for added flavor.

Assembly

6

Plate the Dish

Once the vegetables are grilled and the pita and hummus are prepared, arrange the grilled vegetables on a large serving platter alongside the pita wedges and the bowl of hummus.

7

Serve

Enjoy the veggie platter warm or at room temperature with your favorite dipping sauce!
