Moo Ping Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Preparing the Marinade

In a bowl, combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Marinating the Pork

Cut the pork shoulder into thin strips (about 1 inch wide). Add the pork to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Preparing the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill. Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers.

  4. 4

    Grilling the Moo Ping

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

  5. 5

    Serving

Serve the Moo Ping hot, garnished with extra cilantro if desired. Pair with sticky rice or a fresh salad.
