1. Prepare the Espresso
Brew one shot of espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
2. Heat the Milk
In a saucepan or using a milk frother, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
4. Combine Ingredients
In a large mug, pour the brewed espresso. Add sugar and vanilla extract, stirring to combine.
5. Add Milk
Slowly pour the frothed milk into the mug with espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon. Top with foam.
6. Garnish (optional)
Sprinkle cocoa powder on top for garnish, if desired.
