Biscuit Blend Beans Preparation

1. Prepare the Beans

In a large pot, combine pinto beans, black beans, and kidney beans. Cover with water and soak overnight. Drain and rinse before cooking.

2. Cook the Beans

In the same pot, add olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent. Add soaked beans and enough water to cover. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour or until beans are tender.

3. Make the Biscuit Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

4. Combine and Bake

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Fold the cooked bean mixture into the biscuit dough. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
