Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Grease and flour four ramekins or individual cake molds.

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt together over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

Mix Sugar and Eggs
In another bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until pale and creamy.

Add Dry Ingredients
Sift in the all-purpose flour and add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Fold gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake
Place the ramekins in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes before inverting onto plates.

Dust the fondants with powdered sugar and serve immediately with scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side.
