Method
Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Brownies
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions by combining the mix, eggs, and any additional ingredients specified. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
- 2
Make the Chocolate Dome
Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Using a pastry brush, coat the inside of a silicone dome mold with the melted chocolate, creating an even layer. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes until set. Repeat the process for a second layer for sturdiness. Once set, gently remove from the mold.
- 3
Assemble the Dome
Fill the chocolate dome with a layer of the cooled brownie squares and drizzle with salted caramel sauce. Add a scoop of vanilla gelato on top of the brownies, then add a layer of mixed fruits. Close the dome with another piece of chocolate (if needed) or leave it open.
- 4
Serve
Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top of the dome and around the plate for presentation. Serve immediately with extra fruit on the side.
