Cooking the Pork Belly

Prepare the Pork Belly
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the pork belly with salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Rub the spices thoroughly into the meat.

Cook the Pork Belly
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the pork belly on all sides until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 2-2.5 hours until tender.

Remove the pork belly from the oven, let it rest for 15 minutes, then slice into bite-sized cubes.

Assemble the Tostadas
On each corn tostada, place a generous amount of the cooked pork belly cubes, followed by a sprinkle of Santa Fe queso. Top with the Alium cilantro lime salad mixture.
