Sweet Potato Fries

Garlic Compound Butter

Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Let the ribeye steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and once it's hot, place the steaks in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Sweet Potato Fries

  1. 3

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin fries.

  2. 4

    Season and Bake

In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until well coated. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.

Garlic Compound Butter

  1. 5

    Make the Compound Butter

In a small bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, minced garlic (from the garlic cloves), chopped fresh parsley, and lemon juice. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined.

  2. 6

    Serve

Spoon the garlic compound butter over the cooked steaks just before serving, allowing it to melt into the meat.
