Infuse Vodka with Vanilla
Slice the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Combine the seeds and the bean pod with vodka in a clean glass jar. Seal and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, shaking it gently every few days.

Add Sugar
After 2 weeks, add sugar to the infused vodka and shake well until fully dissolved. This will create a sweetened vanilla extract.

Mix Ingredients
In a shaker, combine 1 oz of Licor 43 and 1 oz of house-made vanilla vodka. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

Serve
Strain the mixture into a shot glass and serve immediately. Optionally, you can garnish with a small piece of vanilla bean or a light sprinkle of sugar.
