Method

Infused Tequila

  1. 1

    Infuse the Tequila

Slice the jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove seeds for less heat (or leave them in for more heat). Place the jalapeno halves in a bottle with the tequila. Seal the bottle and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours, tasting occasionally to reach desired spiciness.

Margarita Preparation

  1. 2

    Blend the Ingredients

In a blender, add the fresh mango (peeled and diced), triple sec, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth. If the mix is too thick, you can add a splash of water to reach desired consistency.

  2. 3

    Mix with Infused Tequila

Once the tequila is infused to your liking, strain it to remove jalapeno pieces. In a shaker with ice, combine the infused tequila and the mango blend. Shake well until chilled.

Serving

  1. 4

    Prepare the Glass

Rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in salt to coat the rim. Fill the glass with ice.

  2. 5

    Pour and Garnish

Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass over ice. Garnish with lime wedges and jalapeno slices for a spicy kick.
