Juicing the Oranges
Cut the fresh oranges in half and use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract the juice into a measuring cup until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice.

Chilling the Champagne
Place the bottle of Champagne in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Assembly

Mixing the Mimosa
In a champagne flute, pour 1 part of fresh orange juice (about 1/3 cup) and top it off with 2 parts of chilled Champagne (about 2/3 cup). Adjust the ratio to taste.

Garnishing (Optional)
If desired, garnish the drink with an orange slice on the rim of the glass for a decorative touch.
