Champagne

Orange Juice

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Oranges

Cut the fresh oranges in half and use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract the juice into a measuring cup until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice.

  2. 2

    Chilling the Champagne

Place the bottle of Champagne in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Mixing the Mimosa

In a champagne flute, pour 1 part of fresh orange juice (about 1/3 cup) and top it off with 2 parts of chilled Champagne (about 2/3 cup). Adjust the ratio to taste.

  2. 4

    Garnishing (Optional)

If desired, garnish the drink with an orange slice on the rim of the glass for a decorative touch.
