Preparation
- 1
Cook the Tater Tots
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen tater tots package. Spread the tater tots on a baking sheet and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- 2
Prepare the Beans
While the tater tots are baking, drain and rinse the canned black beans. In a small saucepan, heat the black beans over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until warmed through. Stir occasionally.

Assemble the Burritos
Once the tater tots, beans, and avocado are ready, warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or until pliable. Place a tortilla on a plate and layer with 1/4 cup of black beans, a generous scoop of mashed avocado, and a handful of crispy tater tots.
- 5
Add Green Sauce
Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of green sauce over the top of the filling in the tortilla.
- 6
Add Optional Toppings
If using, sprinkle chopped cilantro, a dollop of sour cream, and shredded cheese over the filling.
- 7
Wrap the Burrito
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up from the bottom to the top, enclosing the filling. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
