Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm milk (110°F/43°C) with active dry yeast and a tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center and add the frothy yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.

Prepare Filling
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Melt 0.5 cup of butter and set aside.

Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Form Rolls
Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

Make Caramel Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar and butter. Stir continuously until the sugar melts and turns golden brown. Slowly add heavy cream while stirring, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
