Beef Patty

Cheeseburger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently but thoroughly to ensure even seasoning.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill/Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them over.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

Assembling the Cheeseburger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Slice the Tomato

While the buns are toasting, slice the tomato into even slices.

  3. 8

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese. Top with tomato slices and drizzle with the special sauce. Finally, cap it off with the top half of the bun.
