Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the wings are well coated.
- 3
Arrange Wings
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
- 4
Bake Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 5
Prepare Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the hot sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- 6
Coat Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 7
Mix Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Blend
Using a fork or a whisk, mix until well combined. For a smoother dressing, you can use a food processor.
- 9
Chill
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
