Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange Wings on Baking Sheet
Place the seasoned wings on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to allow for even cooking.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 5
Prepare Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- 6
Toss Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and milk.
- 8
Mix the Dressing
Use a whisk or fork to mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Refrigerate the blue cheese dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
