Simmer the Grits
Cook the grits for about 20-25 minutes or until they are thick and creamy, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Add Wine and Lemon Juice
Pour in 1 cup of white wine and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly.
