Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt to the boiling water.

  2. 2

    Add Pasta

Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 5

    Add Chopped Vegetables

Add the chopped bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 6

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine.

  2. 7

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the fresh basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and season with black pepper to taste. Toss everything together until well mixed.

  3. 8

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot. Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
