Sauté the Base
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, diced carrots, and diced celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Incorporate Green Beans and Tomatoes
Stir in the chopped green beans and the canned diced tomatoes (with their juice). Mix well.

Add Broth and Beans
Pour in the vegetable broth and add the drained kidney beans. Stir to combine.

Add the dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring the soup to a boil.
