Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- 3
Prepare the Bun
While the chicken is grilling, slice the burger buns in half. Toast them lightly on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 4
Prepare the Toppings
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into rounds.
- 5
Make the Special Sauce
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Once the chicken is done grilling, place each piece on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and a generous dollop of the special sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- 7
Serve
Serve the grilled chicken burgers hot with your choice of side dishes.
