Method

Cooking the Pork Chop Schnitzel

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Pound the pork chops to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Breading the Pork Chops

Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Pork Chops

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the pork chops until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Making the Whipped Potato

  1. 4

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Whip until creamy.

Braised Cabbage

  1. 6

    Prepare the Cabbage

Shred the cabbage and slice the onion.

  2. 7

    Cook the Cabbage

In a large pot, combine the cabbage, onion, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook on low heat, covered, for about 30 minutes until tender.

Making the Mustard Cream Sauce

  1. 8

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and stir in the Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
