Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Season the Mixture
Drain excess fat if necessary. Add cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef mixture. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Warm Tortillas
In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble Tacos
Fill each warm tortilla with the beef mixture, folding them gently. Serve immediately with additional cilantro if desired.
