Preparation Steps
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
- 3
Mix in Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 6
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the semi-sweet and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 7
Bake the Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
