Prepare the Candied Walnuts
In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 cup of walnuts, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of water, and 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh rosemary. Stir until the sugar is melted and the walnuts are coated. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool.

Make the Dressing
In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of buttermilk, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, smoked blue cheese (crumbled), rosemary candied walnuts, golden raisins, and dried cranberries. Drizzle with the buttermilk blue cheese dressing before serving.
