Method

Prepare Sausages

    Cook Bratwurst

    In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil, and cook the bratwurst for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.

    Cook Kielbasa

    In the same skillet, add the kielbasa and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until heated through and browned on the edges.

Prepare Sauerkraut

    Heat Sauerkraut

    In a small pot, combine the sauerkraut and caraway seeds. Heat over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

Toast Bread

    Toast Sourdough

    Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. In a skillet or on a griddle over medium heat, place the buttered side down and toast for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and toast the other side for another 2-3 minutes.

Assemble

    Serve

    On a serving platter, place the cooked bratwurst and kielbasa alongside the warm sauerkraut. Serve with the toasted sourdough bread on the side for a delicious sausage sampler experience.
