Portobello Mushroom with Basil Pesto

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Mushrooms
Clean the portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and gills using a spoon to make space for the filling.

Add the Pesto
Spoon basil pesto generously into the cavity of each mushroom, ensuring it's evenly distributed.

Sprinkle Parmesan
Top each pesto-filled mushroom with grated Parmesan cheese, evenly covering the pesto.

Bake the Mushrooms
Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is golden brown.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
