Prepare the Salmon
Rinse the Atlantic salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the Salmon
Rub both sides of the salmon fillets with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Pan
In a large non-stick skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sauté the Salmon
Carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fillets are golden brown and cooked through.

Add Pesto and Capers
Once the salmon is cooked, add 1 cup of fresh basil pesto and 2 tablespoons of capers to the skillet. Gently spoon the pesto and capers over the salmon fillets.
