Meatball Preparation

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, each about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet.

Bake Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir well to combine.

Simmer Sauce
Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combining Meatballs and Sauce

Combine and Heat
Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the tomato sauce. Let them simmer together for an additional 10 minutes.

Serve the meatballs in tomato sauce, topped with coarse grated cheese. Enjoy!
