Method
Preparing the Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it is hot enough for cooking the wings.
- 2
Prepare the chicken wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange the wings
Place the coated wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- 4
Bake the wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- 5
Toss the wings in buffalo sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
Preparing the Ranch Dressing
- 6
Mix ranch ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- 7
Chill the ranch dressing
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 8
Serve the wings
Serve the buffalo chicken wings hot with the chilled ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
